Terms and Conditions

By using this private reference service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

This is a private service with no affiliation to Highland County, its sheriff, a jail, corrections department, or other government body. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency. Neither this service nor its advertising partners provides a Fair Credit Reporting Act service.

Permitted use

Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, impersonate, gain unauthorized access, disrupt another person’s use, or operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools without permission.

FCRA restrictions

The service does not provide consumer reports or background reports. You agree not to use any information from the service or a linked partner for credit, insurance, employment, tenant, licensing, government-program, or another FCRA-regulated decision.

External resources

Links can lead to public offices, custody portals, courts, corrections agencies, and independent search services. Their content, availability, data practices, and terms are their responsibility. A link does not endorse or control an outside resource.

Availability and liability

The service is offered “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that information is accurate, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted, or suited to a particular purpose. Custody and court records change. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for losses arising from use of the service.

Your responsibility

You agree to defend and indemnify the operators and their providers against claims, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

Ownership and changes

The service’s text, graphics, logo, and code are owned by their respective owners and may not be copied, distributed, or modified without permission. Terms may change when posted, and access may be limited or revoked at any time.

Ohio law and severability

Ohio law governs these terms, and disputes must be brought in Ohio courts where applicable. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue and the affected part is adjusted only as needed.
